Things to think about when working with First Nations and on their land

When possible get someone to introduce you

send PDFs so there are not red underlines under their nation names
research in their homeland - not field site
reach out early
face time is best, zoom and phone calls are second best, emails are not always the best
volunteer time with them if possible
