Baum Lab Goes to Hornby Island

For the lab retreat this year the lab went camping on Hornby Island. We camped next to Tribune Bay where we explored the coast line, went kayaking, snorkeling, and relaxed while getting to know each other better. The local distillery and fall fair were also visited. We also had discussions about open science, community outreach, and setting a healthy working schedule. It was a great weekend sitting by fires, talking, and exploring. Looking forward to what we will do next year!
