Marine heatwaves and kelp forests

This summer we conducted our fourth field season at Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre, led by Sam Starko and Matt Csordas, and with a great team, we accomplished a lot! We check on our array of temperature loggers, resurveyed kelp and other seaweeds at long-term intertidal and subtotal monitoring sites.
